Travel to Buenos Aires
Buenos Aires Airports
Buenos Aires Ezeiza airport (EZE)
Ezeiza Airport (EZE) to City Centre
There are only two options from Ezieza airport the main international airport in Buenos Aires.
Bus: Line 51 and Line 8 go from the airport and the city centre. Line 51 finishes at Constituion and Line 8 goes to Plaza de Mayo. The journey can take around 90 minutes.
Taxi: The other option is a taxi which the traditional taxis are black and yellow. This will take around 45 mins.

Buenos aires aeroparque airport(AEP)
​Aeoparque Airport (AEP) to City Centre

This airport is closer to the city centre so will be much easier to get to the true centre of Buenos Aires. There are train stations nearby on the Belgrano Norte line but they do not go straight to the airport.
Bus: Line 33 and Line 45A go from the airport and the city centre and only takes around 30 mins.
Taxi: The other option is a taxi which the traditional taxis are black and yellow. This will take around 15 mins.

International Ferry
Due to its geography, international ferries go directly to Uruguary at 3 main areas Montevideo, Punta Del Este and Colonia de Sacramento. The ferry to and from Montevideo takes just under 3 hours.

Subte - Buenos Aires Underground
The London Underground is a really convenient way to get around the city. The underground consists of 7 lines names A, B, C, D, E, H & P. Most lines connect to Retiro but cover all areas of the city. Subte passes can be purchased at all Subte stations

Apps like Uber, Cabify, DiDi & Lyft are all operational in Buenos Aires and are very competitive.
City Buses
Buenos Aires has an extensive bus network with over 300 bus routes. In Buenos Aires, buses are called colectivos or bondis. The bus system or any public transport doesn't accept cash and are solely reliant on the SUBE card which need topping up for use on the buses. SUBE cards can be purchased at kiosko's or tourist information points.

Remis (Alternative Taxis)
During your stay you may see 'Remis'. These are alternative unofficial taxis which (car and driver), which can save you the hassle and stress of navigating through the city and are prominent throughout the Greater Buenos Aires area.

Best Connected: Retiro
Retiro is one of the most popular and connected neighborhoods in Buenos Aires for travelers to visit. Many of the bus and Underground lines pass through or finish in Retiro making it very easy to get around the city when you base yourself in this area. Visit the Torre Monumental a clock tower celebrating independence.
Upmarket Choice: Recoleta
Recoleta is an affluent, upmarket neighbourhood most famous for its European architecture and its infamous cemetery where Eva Peron and other influential people are laid to rest in unique tombs. The El Ateneo bookstore is also another unmissable landmark within Recoleta.
Up & Coming: Puerto Madero
Puerto Madero is a modern, renovated dock which is one of the trendiest nightlife, restaurants and residential apartments now situate. The rotating Womans Bridge is a renown image when thinking of the Buenos Aires skyline. It's also home to the wildlife-rich Costanera Sur Ecological Reserve which draws those who enjoy nature and the great outdoors to Puerto Madero.
