Things To See In Barcelona

Things To See In Barcelona

A blend of sun and fun with Barcelona is skirted by a number of beautiful beaches and diverse neighbourhoods or 'Barrios.' The city is full of colour and character where you can marvel in Gaudi’s modernist spectacles or you could be getting lost in the medieval streets of its Gothic Quarter. Stroll down the iconic Las Ramblas avenue, lay on La Barceloneta beach or of course catch a football match at Europe's biggest football theatre.

Where To Stay

Where To Stay

Best Connected: Plaza Universitat / Plaza Catalunya

The Plaça de la Universitat is one of Barcelona's central squares, at the border between the districts of Eixample and Ciutat Vella.  Many underground stations are situated in the very close vicinity meaning public transport options are endless. A short walk will take you to the top of Las Ramblas, the most famous tree-lined pedestrian street in Barcelona with street performers, markets, bars and restaurants lining the pathways.

Upmarket Choice: Barri Gòtic (Gothic Quarter)

The Gothic Quarter is Barcelona in its purest form filled with narrow medieval streets, trendy bars, clubs and be spoilt for choice thanks to the large quantity of Catalan restaurants. The Museu d'Història de Barcelona shows remains of the Roman city and the iconic La Rambla.

Up & Coming: Gracia

Gràcia is bohemian area of the city still with the Barcelona vibe you have came to enjoy. Characterised by  tapas bars, narrow pedestrian streetsand bustling  plazas. An area less likely to see mass brands but replaced by indie stores, artisan handmade crafts and treats. It’s well positioned for varied cuisine from all corners of the globe - Italian, Japanese, you name it.  The famous Parc Guell sits in the north of the area but Gracia still sits close to see the more obvious tourist spots but provides a different experience.
